Standard First Aid  C CPR Courses Toronto

WE ARE NOW RUNNING THE BLENDED STANDARD FIRST  AID COURSE UNDER RED CROSS!!  Once someone submits payment for that class through our website, they will receive  a link to the Red Cross system where they must complete online theory work , then they attend a shortened in-person session to perform skills demonstration. The registration deadline for this course is three days beforehand since someone must have time in which to complete the online theory work. These Standard First Aid  C CPR  courses includes all the content of the Emergency First Aid training, plus head or spinal injuries, bone and joint injuries, sudden illnesses, heat and cold related injuries and poisons. Child and Infant CPR is also included so that participants may receive a C CPR card.

Our usual fee is $95.00 per person ( student) $105.00 ( non-student) or $115.00 per person for those who also require the BLS Provider for healthcare ( formerly called Healthcare Provider or HCP) CPR training, but for Winter 2022 we are running these courses for a  fee of $99.00 per person all-inclusive.  Those requiring the HCP/BLS training will stay for additional time to cover those skills. Face masks must be worn, screening questions must be answered upon arrival, social distancing is maintained, equipment is bagged individually for each participant and class sizes are limited at this time.  Participants must provide proof of successful completion of the online portion before they can attend the in-person class. Please note that people must arrive on time for the course – latecomers will not be admitted and will need to reschedule.

A Standard First Aid course card in Ontario is in effect for three years. At the end of  three years, but before the expiry date, you are allowed to attend a shortened Standard First Aid C CPR Course renewal class through the agency that originally trained you. Three years after that, you must take the full first aid course again. Although the card is in effect for three years, an employer may want CPR renewal even every year, depending on the type of employment – do note that the  healthcare CPR category now called Basic Life Support (BLS) is issued now as a separate certificate and is in effect for one year.
